American WW2 Officers summer cap often called a crusher cap.
These where issued to the Army officers as part of the Summer service (chinos) uniform. These are made in tan cotton with brown a leather peak, leather chinstrap and cap badge.
Can be seen being worn by US Air crews including pilots in the summer and in the Pacific war also worn with Chinos and leather jackets.
Pre shaped crusher cap with wire removed and edges folded to indicate hes not a Desk Officer
